ResMed is bringing to your attention an update related to the labelling of the ResMed masks with magnets. ResMed has voluntarily initiated a Field Safety Notice in response to these updates.
SG Medical, in accordance with ResMed guidelines, will support contraindicated patients. We will provide a replacement mask without magnets upfront for contraindicated patients in a timely manner. If you are in contraindication, please prepare a Medical letter from a Physician stating that the contraindicated patient has an implant/medical device that may be adversely affected by magnetic interference and recommending that the contraindicated patient seek an alternative mask without magnets. After that, please contact SG Medical. We will only support ResMed replacement masks upon receiving a Medical letter from a Physician.
