BiPAP Machines

Bilevel positive airway pressure (commonly known as BPAP or by the trade name BiPAP) is a device designed to assist your breathing. It’s a type of noninvasive ventilation often used when you can breathe independently but need extra support to maintain adequate oxygen levels or expel carbon dioxide effectively.

The term "bilevel" refers to the two different pressure levels the machine provides: a higher pressure for inhalation, known as inhalation positive airway pressure (IPAP), and a lower pressure for exhalation, called exhalation positive airway pressure (EPAP). These settings can be programmed to switch at a timed interval or automatically adjust based on your natural breathing patterns.
