AirSense 10 3G Connectivity Challenges and Solutions

In July 2023, the Mobile Network Operators (MNO) had announced plans to retire their 3G networks. Since then, M1 has begun to retire its 3G network beginning 1 August 2024. Singtel and StarHub have also commence retiring their 3G services from November 2024.

As mentioned previously, the delivery of positive airway pressure therapy is not affected because of the action by the MNO. However, wireless data transmission will no longer be possible. Data will continue to be recorded on the device’s SD card and can still be retrieved manually. Additionally, the MyAir app will no longer work with 3G devices, but users can still access and view their sleep data directly on the device by selecting “Sleep Report” from the Home screen.

Issue: 3G Network No Longer Available in Singapore

01.  Why is my AirSense 10 (AS10) not transmitting data anymore?

The AS10 device relies on 3G networks to send data to the MyAir app. With the 3G network no longer available in Singapore, the device cannot transmit data wirelessly.

02.   Can I still access my therapy data?

Yes, you can still access your therapy data.

  • The data is recorded and stored on the SD card in your AS10 device.
  • You can provide the SD card to your healthcare provider for analysis, or use a compatible software solution to view the data yourself.

03.   What are my options to continue wireless data transmission?

If you would like to regain MyAir app functionality or wireless data transmission, you have the following options:

Option 1: Carry On as It Is
You can continue using your AS10 device without wireless connectivity and rely on the SD card for data.

Option 2: Upgrade to a Newer Model
Purchase a new 4G-compatible AirSense 10 or AirSense 11 machine.

  • AS10 4G
  • AirSense 11 (AS11) 4G

Contact your provider or SG Medical to discuss upgrade options.

Option 3: Replace the 3G CAM board with a 4G CAM board

  • Replace the internal 3G CAM Board in your AS10 device with a 4G-compatible CAM Board.
  • This replacement process takes approximately 1 hour and can be arranged with us.
  • Customers can contact our showroom via WhatsApp

    • Continue using the SD card,
    • Upgrade to a new model, or
